Know your possible colleges in Chhattisgarh
Enter your AIAPGET All India Rank, round and seat categories to see the seats that went to a similar rank. This is based on last year’s data: the allotment lists of the 2025 counselling by the Directorate of AYUSH, Chhattisgarh, for the government college at Raipur and Mahaveer College, Rajnandgaon.
How to read the results
The closing rank is the AIAPGET All India Rank of the last candidate allotted that seat in the chosen round of the 2025 Chhattisgarh counselling. Your rank is compared with it.
- High
- Your rank is at least 20% better than the closing rank.
- Good
- Your rank is within the closing rank, with a smaller margin.
- Borderline
- Your rank is past the closing rank by up to 10% (or 20 ranks).
- Low
- Your rank is past the closing rank by up to 30% (or 60 ranks).
Seats further out than that are not listed.
- State quota
- The seats of the government college at Raipur outside the central All India quota, for candidates with a Chhattisgarh domicile, with category reservation.
- Domicile-free quota
- The state quota seats of Mahaveer College, Rajnandgaon, printed as Domicile Free Quota. Open to candidates of any state, with no category reservation.
- All India quota
- The All India quota seats of Mahaveer College, Rajnandgaon, which this counselling fills. Open to candidates of any state, with no category reservation.
- Jain minority quota
- Seats of Mahaveer College, Rajnandgaon, kept for candidates of the Jain community, of any state.
Two colleges take part. Shri Narayan Prasad Awasthi Government Ayurveda College, Raipur, had 55 state quota seats in 11 specialities in 2025. Mahaveer College of Ayurvedic Science, Rajnandgaon, a private college, had 16 seats in four specialities: 2 All India quota, 6 domicile-free and 8 for the Jain minority.
- Every eligible candidate competes for Open seats, so most candidates keep Open ticked. A candidate with no reserved category ticks Open only.
- EWS, OBC, SC and ST seats go only to candidates of that category, so tick your own as well: an OBC candidate ticks Open and OBC. Reserved seats need a certificate from the State of Chhattisgarh.
- Categories matter only for the state quota of the government college. The private college’s seats are not reserved, and are counted whichever categories are ticked.
- State quota seats of the government college are for candidates with a Chhattisgarh domicile. If you do not have one, tick that option: those seats are left out, and the private college’s seats, which are open to candidates of any state, remain.
- Tick “I belong to the Jain community” to count the private college’s Jain minority seats. Only one was allotted as such in 2025, in Round 1.
- The allotment lists print the categories as UR-NC, EWS-NC, OBC-NC, SC-NC and ST-NC. NC means the seat has no sub-category. The names here are those of the official page of opening and closing ranks, which calls UR “Open”.
If seats in more than one of your categories exist for the same course and seat type, the one that closed later is shown.
- Round 1
- Every seat is on offer in Round 1, so its closing ranks are the strictest.
- Round 2
- Only the seats allotted in Round 2: those given up after Round 1, and those freed by candidates who moved up to a better seat. There were five.
- Round 3 (mop-up)
- Only the seats allotted in the mop-up round: those still vacant, and those freed by candidates who moved up. Seats nobody claimed, the in-service seats among them, are converted to other categories in this round; a converted seat is shown under the category it was allotted in.
- Round 4 (stray vacancy)
- The two stray rounds together, as on the official page of opening and closing ranks: the private college’s seats still vacant after the mop-up round, for candidates who hold no seat. New candidates could register for it.
A candidate who joined a seat could ask to move up in Round 2 and in the mop-up round, and kept the seat if nothing better came. The mop-up round allowed no moving up afterwards. A special stray vacancy round was scheduled for 18 to 22 December 2025; no allotment list for it is on the official site.
- It is one year of results, not a forecast. Seats, applicants and their preferences change every year.
- Chhattisgarh’s counselling is small: two colleges and 71 seats. Most kinds of seat had one or two places on offer, so a closing rank is often one candidate’s rank. Treat it as a guide.
- Each round shows only the seats allotted in it. A seat that was given up, or freed by a candidate who moved up, is allotted again in a later round, so the same seat can appear in more than one round.
- The five seats kept for in-service Ayurveda medical officers were not allotted as such. With no eligible candidate, they were converted to other categories for the mop-up round. Most of the Jain minority seats went unclaimed too, and were allotted later as domicile-free seats.
- The stray rounds had only the private college’s seats. 4 of the 7 allotted went to candidates from outside Chhattisgarh.
- It covers Ayurveda seats filled by this counselling. The 15% All India quota seats of the government college are filled by central counselling.
