Know your possible colleges in Punjab
Enter your AIAPGET All India Rank, round and seat categories to see the seats that went to a similar rank. This is based on last year’s data: the allotment lists of the 2025 counselling by Guru Ravidas Ayurved University (GRAU), Hoshiarpur.
How to read the results
The closing rank is the AIAPGET All India Rank of the last candidate allotted that seat in the chosen round of the 2025 Punjab counselling. Your rank is compared with it.
- High
- Your rank is at least 20% better than the closing rank.
- Good
- Your rank is within the closing rank, with a smaller margin.
- Borderline
- Your rank is past the closing rank by up to 10% (or 20 ranks).
- Low
- Your rank is past the closing rank by up to 30% (or 60 ranks).
Seats further out than that are not listed.
- Government quota
- The state quota seats of Government Ayurvedic College, Patiala, for candidates domiciled in Punjab, with category reservation.
- Government and management quota
- The state quota seats of the two private colleges (85% of their seats), for candidates domiciled in Punjab, with category reservation.
- All India quota
- The 15% All India quota seats of the two private colleges, for candidates who apply under the All India quota. In 2025 every one went to a candidate domiciled outside Punjab.
Three colleges take part: Government Ayurvedic College, Patiala (7 seats in two specialities), and two private colleges with 10 seats each, Dayanand Ayurvedic College, Jalandhar, and Desh Bhagat Ayurvedic Medical College, Mandi Gobindgarh.
- The categories are named as the allotment lists print them. Every eligible candidate competes for General Category seats, so most candidates keep it ticked.
- Scheduled Caste and Backward Classes seats go only to candidates of that category, so tick your own as well. No seat was allotted in any other category in 2025.
- A candidate applies either under the state quota or under the All India quota. If you are not domiciled in Punjab, tick the last option: only the All India quota seats of the two private colleges are counted, and they carry no category.
If seats in more than one of your categories exist for the same course and seat type, the one that closed later is shown.
- Round 1
- Every seat is on offer in Round 1, so its closing ranks are the strictest.
- Round 2
- Only the seats allotted in Round 2: those left vacant after Round 1, and those given up.
- Round 3
- Only the seats allotted in Round 3: those still vacant, and those given up.
- Stray vacancy rounds
- The stray vacancy rounds together: the last vacant seats. The first, second and fourth rounds have a published result; the third has none.
Each list names every candidate of its round, and a candidate still on the seat of an earlier round is shown with that seat again. Those 5 repeats are not counted: a round shows only the seats that were new to the candidate.
- It is one year of results, not a forecast. Seats, applicants and their preferences change every year.
- Punjab’s counselling is small: three colleges, four specialities and 27 seats. Most kinds of seat had one or two places, so a closing rank is often one candidate’s rank. Treat it as a guide.
- The lists are web pages printed to PDF, with rows that break across pages. Every row was read by the table’s ruling lines; the rows that sit on one page, a little over half, were confirmed by reading the file a second way.
- One seat of the stray rounds is printed under the government and management quota with “All India Quota” for its category. It is counted as a General Category seat of that quota.
- The seat kept for in-service medical officers at Patiala was not allotted as such.
- It covers Ayurveda seats filled by this counselling. The All India quota seats of the government college are filled by central counselling.
