Know your possible colleges in Kerala
Enter your AIAPGET All India Rank, round and seat categories to see the seats that went to a similar rank. This is based on last year’s data: the allotment lists of the 2025 counselling by the Commissioner for Entrance Examinations (CEE), Kerala.
How to read the results
The closing rank is the AIAPGET All India Rank of the last candidate with that seat in the chosen round of the 2025 Kerala counselling. Your rank is compared with it.
- High
- Your rank is at least 20% better than the closing rank.
- Good
- Your rank is within the closing rank, with a smaller margin.
- Borderline
- Your rank is past the closing rank by up to 10% (or 20 ranks).
- Low
- Your rank is past the closing rank by up to 30% (or 60 ranks).
Seats further out than that are not listed.
- State quota
- Seats for candidates of Kerala origin, in all colleges: State Merit (SM) seats, and seats reserved for a community or category.
- All India quota
- The All India quota seats of self-financing colleges, printed as AM, which this counselling fills. Candidates from outside Kerala can take them too.
- Management
- Management seats of self-financing colleges, printed as MG, for candidates of Kerala origin. The fee differs; confirm it with the college.
- Disability seat
- Seats for candidates with benchmark disabilities, printed as PD. Shown here for reference; the predictor leaves them out.
- MQ seat
- One seat printed as MQ, which the prospectus does not spell out; we take it to be the medical officers’ quota. Shown here for reference; the predictor leaves it out.
Eleven colleges take part: the government colleges at Thiruvananthapuram, Tripunithura and Kannur, the aided colleges at Kottakkal and Ollur, and six self-financing colleges. The official lists put government and aided colleges under one type, so this site does too.
- The categories are named exactly as the allotment lists print them. SM is State Merit: every eligible candidate competes for it, so most candidates keep SM ticked.
- The other seats go only to candidates of that community or category, so tick your own as well: EZ Ezhava, MU Muslim, BH Other Backward Hindu, LC Latin Catholic and Anglo Indian, BX Other Backward Christian, KU Kudumbi, SC, ST, and EW for the economically weaker sections. A candidate can claim one community only.
- EW seats are in government and aided colleges only. A seat for the Scheduled Castes left unclaimed passes to the Scheduled Tribes, and the other way round.
- Management seats carry no category. They are counted for every candidate of Kerala origin.
- Only candidates of Kerala origin are eligible for state quota and management seats. If you are not, tick the last option: only the All India quota seats of self-financing colleges are counted, which candidates of any state can take.
If seats in more than one of your categories exist for the same course and seat type, the one that closed later is shown.
- Phase 1
- Every seat is on offer in Phase 1, so its closing ranks are the strictest.
- Phase 2
- Every seat held once Phase 2 was over: the seats kept from Phase 1 and those allotted in Phase 2. The official list and last rank table of Phase 2 are drawn up this way.
- Phase 3
- Only the seats allotted in Phase 3: those then vacant, and those freed by candidates who moved to another seat.
- Stray vacancy rounds
- The three stray vacancy rounds together: the last vacant seats, nearly all in self-financing colleges.
Of the 225 seats in the Phase 2 list, 119 were kept from Phase 1, 70 went to candidates who moved from another seat, and 36 to candidates who had none.
- It is one year of results, not a forecast. Seats, applicants and their preferences change every year.
- Many kinds of seat had a single place, so a closing rank is often one candidate’s rank. Treat it as a guide.
- Phase 1 and Phase 2 show every seat held once the phase was over; Phase 3 and the stray rounds show only the seats allotted in them, because that is what their lists contain.
- 28 seats of Phase 1 are marked in the list as allotted provisionally, subject to a screening committee’s decision. They are counted like the rest.
- Seats for candidates with disabilities (PD) and the one MQ seat appear in the cutoffs only. The service quota for medical officers has a list of its own, which is not included.
- It covers Ayurveda seats filled by this counselling. The All India quota seats of government and aided colleges are filled by central counselling.

Every row was read by three PDF readers with the same result. Every candidate’s rank was checked against CEE’s rank list, and the last rank of every kind of seat in Phase 1 and Phase 2 equals CEE’s own last rank tables. The rules for who can take which seat are those of the prospectus. Confirm seats, eligibility and dates on cee.kerala.gov.in.
