Know your possible colleges in Himachal Pradesh
Enter your AIAPGET All India Rank, round and seat categories to see the seats that went to a similar rank. This is based on last year’s data: the final seat allocation lists of the 2025 counselling by Atal Medical and Research University (AMRU), Himachal Pradesh.
How to read the results
The closing rank is the AIAPGET All India Rank of the last candidate allocated that seat in the chosen round of the 2025 Himachal Pradesh counselling. Your rank is compared with it.
- High
- Your rank is at least 20% better than the closing rank.
- Good
- Your rank is within the closing rank, with a smaller margin.
- Borderline
- Your rank is past the closing rank by up to 10% (or 20 ranks).
- Low
- Your rank is past the closing rank by up to 30% (or 60 ranks).
Seats further out than that are not listed.
- HP quota
- State quota seats for direct candidates, printed as “HP Quota - Direct”: for bonafide Himachalis, with category reservation, in the government college and the two private colleges.
- Management quota
- Management quota seats of the two private colleges. HP quota candidates are considered for them too if they fill the choice.
- In-service
- State quota seats for in-service Ayurvedic Medical Officers, printed as “HP Quota In-service”. Shown here for reference; the predictor leaves them out.
Three colleges take part: Rajiv Gandhi Government Post Graduate Ayurvedic College, Paprola, and two private colleges, Abhilashi Ayurvedic College and Research Institute, Chail Chowk (Mandi), and Shiva Ayurvedic Medical College, Chandpur (Bilaspur).
- Every eligible candidate competes for General seats, so most candidates keep General ticked. A candidate with no reserved category ticks General only.
- EWS, OBC, SC and ST seats go only to candidates of that category, so tick your own as well: an OBC candidate ticks General and OBC.
- HP quota seats are for bonafide Himachalis. If you are not one, tick the last option: only the management quota seats of the two private colleges are counted. The merit lists carry candidates who applied under the management quota alone; confirm with the university that you can.
If seats in more than one of your categories exist for the same course and seat type, the one that closed later is shown.
- Round 1
- Every seat is on offer in Round 1, so its closing ranks are the strictest.
- Round 2
- Only the seats allocated in Round 2: those left vacant after Round 1, and those freed by candidates who moved to another seat.
- Round 3
- Only the seats allocated in Round 3. Seats were added before this round and candidates could shift to a better seat, so it allocated more seats than Round 1.
- Stray vacancy rounds
- The first two stray vacancy rounds together: the seats still vacant after Round 3.
Of the 48 seats allocated in Round 3, 19 went to candidates who moved from a seat of an earlier round. A third stray vacancy round, in January 2026, allocated one more Ayurveda PG seat; no merit list was published for it, so the candidate’s rank is not known and the seat is left out.
- It is one year of results, not a forecast. Seats, applicants and their preferences change every year.
- Himachal Pradesh’s counselling is small: three colleges. Most kinds of seat had one or two places, so a closing rank is often one candidate’s rank. Treat it as a guide.
- Each round shows only the seats allocated in it. A seat given up, or freed by a candidate who moved, is allocated again in a later round, so the same seat can appear in more than one round.
- The allocation lists print each candidate’s place on the state merit list, not their AIAPGET rank. The rank shown here is taken from the merit list of the same round, by application number.
- The two seats allocated to in-service Ayurvedic Medical Officers appear in the cutoffs only.
- It covers Ayurveda seats filled by this counselling. The All India quota seats of the government college are filled by central counselling.

Every allocation list was read by three PDF readers with the same result, and every merit list likewise.
